The most divine session of AMAL fellowship is the last session. Though It made me sad after 3 months fellowship have ended. It is the journey that is so close to my heart and I will remember this experience for the rest of my life. AMAL has taught such valuable life lessons in a very different and unique way, that I would suggest that everyone should give this fellowship a chance once in life as it clears your mind and gives you a perspective that will help you achieve your goals and careers.
The session started with each one of us feeling overwhelmed by the fact that this was the last session and there are no more Saturday Sunday zoom sessions, no more activities, no more breakout rooms.
So, the Last session started with talks of gratitude, learnings every fellow has experienced in these 3 months, and just heartfelt conversations. Everyone added their favorite memory, how they applied for the fellowship, their interesting and fun-filled stories cheer up the mood. After that, an interesting activity is introduced by our PA & PM called SCAVENGER HUNT. So we all were like what is it? It is a “think and finds the item game” in which there were 25 riddles that we have to solve and after that, each member has to upload a pic with the specific item. The whole batch is divided into two teams and here begins the game.
This activity is for sure amazing game, from all the projects, our projects within the project work, megaproject, presentation, interviews and many other things that we have done throughout 3 months. So It was like therapy for each one of us to relax, chill, reflect and just live in the moment because these moments will become memories from our last session.

Bidding farewell is hard but I have made so many friends and such meaningful connections through this journey that I am planning to remain in touch with all of them. We have each other contact numbers, our Batch Facebook group, WhatsApp groups, and many other small groups that we have been connected to pretty much already.

The learnings that I had learned from AMAL FELLOWSHIP are priceless and the experiences that I have will have a deep impact as I felt a change in myself. It is already showing in my future preferences and goals. So yeah “from learning networking to resume writing and cover letter”, “from mock interviews to megaproject presentations”, every step has an important learning lesson and is going to be helpful in my future works.
